And just like that, another year passes — and once again we’re proud to announce that following our 2025/26 annual inspection, Select 1 Security & Electrical Limited has been successfully awarded our SSAIB certification for 2026.
The Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) is a UKAS-accredited certification body responsible for assessing security and fire companies against recognised industry standards, ensuring systems are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest levels of quality and compliance.
A huge well done to the entire team for their continued professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail. The hard work ensures we consistently meet — and exceed — these exacting standards year after year.
Third-party certification plays an increasingly important role in giving customers confidence in the quality, competence, and experience of their security provider, and we’re proud to continue demonstrating that commitment.

This was a successful Surveillance audit where 3 systems were presented for inspection; The standard of the installations was again very high with excellent supportive documentation also completed to a high standard.
Reports requested were available and kept up to date, Natalie had made good preparations for the visit and a good selection of servicing and call outs reports was made available. Overall; I was very pleased with the work seen and the evidence supplied during the audit, I recommend continuing certification for The Intruder, Access Control and VSS Scopes well done to all involved
